Indian Hockey

The Indian national Hockey team were here in Santiago between the 3rd and 10th of March 2008 to play in the Beijing Olympics Qualifying Tournament. The Indian Association held a dinner in their honour and the team took the opportunity to thank all the Indians in Santiago for their wonderful support and encouragement during the tournament. Unfortunately the Indian team fell short at the final hurdle and lost to Great Britain in the final 2-0 and were unable to qualify for the olympics but they played beatifully during the entire week and left us all with a lot of wonderful memories.
